重大傷病人口激增　別忘趁年輕健康時　強化長期照護保障 Oct 18th 2013, 03:29 〔記者顏真真╱台北報導〕根據健保署統計，截至2012年止，全國重大傷病領證人數近90萬人，年增3.7萬人。此外，主計總處統計顯示，需要長期照護人口以45至64歲的醫療費用最高，其次為15至44歲，顯示長期看護的需求並非老專利。壽險業建議，家族有重大疾病遺傳病史的民眾，應趁年輕且健康情況良好時儘快規劃終身醫療或具長期給付型態的終身健康險，以保障未來的醫療照護品質。
