調查：逾8成台灣家長存子女教育金　提存比更居亞太第一 Sep 13th 2013, 03:19 〔記者顏真真╱台北報導〕台灣已進入少子化社會，教育儼然成為台灣家庭最關心的事情。根據萬事達卡國際組織最新公布的「消費者購買傾向調查－教育」調查顯示，有81%的台灣家長會定期為孩子做教育儲蓄，更將每月平均收入的19%用於儲蓄孩子教育經費，與泰國並列亞太區第一，而且有77%的台灣家長願意在孩子的課外活動上做投資，並以運動、樂器學習及外語學習最受歡迎。
